An asymmetrical dagger of the Malay people. A sanctified heirloom “Pusaka” of a family in Indonesia and Malaysia, it is a spiritual object possessing magical powers and representing the lineage of a family. The blades are folded hundreds of times and made of iron and nickel. Unesco has put the kris on its list of “masterpieces of oral and intangible heritage of humanity.”
