Hand carved Buddha in Sitting Position. Carved from a tree root over 100 years old that became available when the villagers built a new road. The carver kept most of the root intact, showing its original form and his attachment to nature. An exploration or the artists hand and natures work in harmony. An appreciation of a hundred years of life in the humble artist’s hand.
