A reconstructed Buddhist temple wall from central Java. With part of the old temple wall blocks they found in a small local village. Reconstructed with new carved pieces by what they could made out with the original old carvings. You could see the stone with some tone different. Some of the stones with moss grows on, and the carving has a smoother lines and outlook from weather and erosion. While others newer pieces have straight clean outline. A beautiful piece not only showing time and history, but also brings a quiet tranquilfeeling in the ancient days senses into the surroundings.

Which most villagers and their ancestors build temples around the area since ancient time. Using the lava stone coming directly from the area. Mount Merapi is an active stratovolcano located on the border between the province of Central Java and the Special Region of Yogyakarta. This largest Buddhist temple site of Borobudur had influence the temple art around central Java since many centuries ago.
