Description
An antique white marble Bodhisattva stella from old temple in China. Originally used as part of the temple wall. Each piece would be carved with stories about different stage of Buddha’s life. This piece in particular is about Buddha’s teaching the followers to not afraid to face their difficulties, situation, even death after his enlightenment.
We could see Buddha sits in the center of the relief. With three Bodhisattva atop lotus base on each side of him. Bottom with phoenix with flame, and followers with offerings. And everyone is under the cover of the big lotus umbrella. Which represents mental purity and spiritual cleansing.
A antique one of a kind piece. Which would bring a peaceful serene feeling to the surrounding. Would be a stunning piece to build into a stone wall outside, or as a center piece of an indoor living area.
