Nat spirit from Burma (Myanmar). Nats worship is a traditional spirit worship found in Burma. Nats, of which there are 37, were once people who died tragic and violent deaths who have now become spirits that are believed to be able to influence human life. Thus, people often give offerings to the Nats in order to ensure the Nats influence life in only positive ways.
