Japanese Nagoya Obi Happy Babies

Nagoya Obi are a hybrid style. There are many variations of Nagoya obi. The typical style has the entire length that wraps around the body sewn in a half width permanently and the exact amount needed to make the ‘taiko’ shape in the back sewn full width. Nagoya obi are less formal and more comfortable because it is lighter.

Hand painted happy babies in traditional clothing playing together. Simple but cheerful design. Come with an additional musubi (obi knot) to change the look when you like. Half of the obi is folded 6 inches wide and half 12 inches wide. The half width part is 91 inches long, the full width part is 43 inches long. Full length 134 inches. Only one piece!
