Antique Marble Hotei – 1800s

Hand carved Buddhist marble statue of Hotei, also known as Happy/Laughing/Fat Buddha, who is a Chinese god of happiness and prosperity. He is depicted with five young children. In his right hand he holds a strand of pearls.This piece still has some areas showing the original paint. Made in China, collected in Myanmar.
