Tibetan terrier in nest

Another AsiaBarong first! Our Tibetan Terrier captured incubating her eggs in the traditional nest of a huge Tibetan Bowl.

Traditionally these dogs lay there clutches of eggs in Singing Bowls in the Autumn, incubating them through the long Himalayan Winters. Their mates going out on long treks through the mountain to bring back Yak meat to the hungry Mom keeping her eggs warm. Imagine the tenacity to cast such a huge Singing bowl when all you have is paws. These are certainly dedicated parents! In the long warm Summers high up in the mountains Katie here casts multiple bowls for us to make a little extra income while the sun shines. We have many in stock.
