Antique Korean persimmon wood apothecary. Originally arrived in the states in the 1980’s.

A very rare antique apothecary. Made with black heart persimmon wood in the mid 19th century. Persimmon is related to ebony from Macassar as well as African black ebony. A large portion of heartwood displays amazing contrast which could be seem in these drawers. One of a kind.
