Description

An extraordinary kris / keris board, also referred to as a kris / keris holder. It’s an authentic household sword/dagger holder from Java, Indonesia. Decorated with hand carved and painted wayang figure on both side of the board. There are holes for the twine that would have held the ceremonial swords. It dates from the early 19th century.
