Vintage Wood Guan Yin Head

A beautiful art quality vintage hand carved Guan Yin head from wood. Base on the appearance, carved lines, and weight… conditions, we believe it might be carved out from rosewood (but still to be determined.)

Simple and smooth outline, creates an effortlessly serene look in the face. The master of the carver spends most of his energy and skill to show on her hair bun and crown. The attention to details says it all. Vintage and one of a kind piece, originally from Taiwan.

Kindly noted that there are a few cracks on the carving were due to the dry storage condition over the years. We tried to show them as clear as possible on photographs. Please check the photographs for better details.
