Hand cast brass peacock diya oil lamp stand. A beautiful and intricate three tiers brass oil lamps with many bells on each tier. There’s a small tier that hangs on the peacock’s beak atop the three tiers. A piece that is both sturdy and beautiful for your home shrine or temple. People use oil lamps in Hindu temples as well as in-home shrines everywhere in India. Generally, the lamps used in temples are circular. This is also a great feature to light up your home elegantly.
Diyas are used for offering fire at the altar for the Hindu god. They also often use during Indian festive occasions like Diwali and Navratras. A Diya or Jyoti is a symbol of knowledge, purity, good luck, prosperity. In other words, it represents the absence of darkness/ignorance.
