This Buddha statue is seating on a lotus base in an “Adamantine” position (Vajrasana). His hands are in the gesture of Bhumisparsha mudra. Finely carved from one solid block of white marble, and decorated with gold pigments. And pigment faded through time.
This white marble Buddha is known as the “Shan Style”. Characterized by his serene facial expression. An authentic antique piece with a strong serenity feeling.
