Antique teak wood full size wedding bed from Java, Indonesia. Beautiful hand carved work we don’t see on the new Javanese furniture. Originally crafted in Java as a gift for a newly married couple of Chinese heritage. One of the Asian wedding bed we ever come across that is large enough for an American size mattress. Beautiful carving on all the frames and legs of the bed. Though the decorative from panel was broken before we got it. Current condition as shown in the pictures. We has reflected on the price due to this condition. It still remain a very impressive piece, and time makes it shines even more.

Great for any bedding setting. Also good as a center piece in the living room or in a tea house. We have seen people use this kind of bed as a sitting area, or a tea room. With silky curtain on top, set a table in the center, with some comfortable cushions… Makes it possible for you to create it into a dream location to chill with your family and friends.
