An extraordinary kris / keris board, also referred to as a kris / keris holder. It’s an authentic household sword/dagger holder from Java, Indonesia. This piece is quite old and a bit worn out from using. There are holes for the twine that would have held the ceremonial swords. It dates from the early to mid 20th century.
