Description
An old hand carved wooden home shrine from early 19th century Vietnam. Beautiful intricate carving from the old times that we don’t see on the new shrine. Double dragon chasing pearl atop the base. Cloud band around the shrine doors. Delicate floral pattern on both doors. Above the door is a panel with four words which means : filial piety for generations. To remind the descendants to be kind for the elders, and always honor the family. Still can see the base with some gold lacquer on from original paint. The back board has a crack from before. Kindly check the pictures for further details. One of a kind.
This is a very classical old Vietnamese style home shrine. Used to put ancestors plaque or deity figure inside the shrine for praying.
