Description
This iconic piece depicts Buddha as he is sitting under the protective hood of the seven headed Naga serpent. As the legend goes, after a month of Buddha sitting under the Bodhi tree, a heavy rainfall started. Naga then emerged from the ground and shielded buddha from this rain until the storm passed. Made in brass using the lost-wax cast method in India.
