White granite Guan Yin (also known as Quan-Yin or Kuan-Yin). Hand carved in China. The old master’s hard work on this huge white granite piece, shows her beautiful facial lines and the robe delicate details.
Guan Yin is the equivalent term for Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva. She is also the Buddhist bodhisattva associated with compassion in the East Asian world.
