Description
Pair of lacquer hard wood Foo Dogs, also known as Fu Lions, Shi Shi. Great carving on the facial appearance. So is the mane on the foo dog’s back. Old pair with the carving of pearl inside both of the hollow balls (which means the earth) under the paw, and the mouth of the lions. Due to the old age and/or the condition of the weather, one of the lion has a crack as shown in the picture.
The most auspicious placement according to feng shui is with the female on the left and the male on the right. This pair will be position in the way that both lions are looking in. Originally from Taiwan.
