Description
Old Chinese temple drum. This particular one is all hand made, hand forged nails and metal rings. These Drums have been made throughout China for many hundreds of years. They still make them in the same way. One of the metal ring was missing. There are stamps on both side of the drum, which indicate the temple that used it, a Taoist god, and approval quality. The paint has serious mottles due to its old age and usage through time. It’s imperfect but still beautiful. Condition shown as in picture.
