Old Chinese temple marble Buddha Standing Sculpture in Abhaya Mudra. Abhaya Mudra is a hand gesture of reassurance and protection that dispels fear. It is performed with one hand raised, palm facing outward, and fingers pointing upward, symbolizing divine protection, courage, and goodwill.

Other than Buddha sculptures inside the temples. There are different form of stone Buddha sculptures all over the Buddhist tamples in east Asia.  With varies of stone carved Buddha outside the temple wall, standing Buddha in the garden, or sitting position in the gazebos. This particular standing Buddha, was hand carved stand in the temple garden in a Chinese Buddhist temple.
