Old brass Ganesha hand cast with his mount Mooshak at the bottom of his lotus base. Lord Ganesha uses his trunk to destroy obstacles and progress. And it is twisted symbolising the universal sound of OM. Lord Ganesha’s trunk is close to the modaks to laddoos which means he is close to food – and can easily share. And that means he shares happiness and prosperity with his devotees and blesses them.
Ganesha has many attributes, he is readily identified by his elephant head. He is the remover of obstacles and thought to bring good luck; the patron of arts and sciences; and the deva of intellect and wisdom.
