Description
The Kanna is a valuable asset to every carpenter, woodworker, or anyone working with wood. Not only used to finish the surface of the wood, but also used to shave the wood into the desired shapes. The unique feature of Japanese planes (kanna) is when you use it, they are pulled towards you, not pushed. Commonly used in a standing position with an angled planing beam. The plane is used to create polished surfaces without the need for sandpaper or finishing oil.
