Painted Marble Vishnu

Description

Once used for worship in a temple in India, this hand carved marble depicts the Hindu god, Lord Vishnu. After being broken, likely due to an earthquake, ‘murtis’ can no longer be used for worship in temples, Thus we were able to acquire it directly from the temple themselves.
