Vintage Korean Narrow Cabinet Inlaid Vase And Gourd

Beautiful Korean narrow lacquer cabinet with exquisite mother-of-pearl inlay and lacquer finish. Originally brought to the United States by its Korean owner in the 1970s as part of her wedding furnishings.

The cabinet features intricately inlaid shell patterns of vases and gourd, showcasing the remarkable craftsmanship visible throughout the piece. There’s also the character of blessing in the gourd. The brass door knob features an intricate design of two phoenixes forming a circular pattern, with a double happiness character beautifully centered within the motif. The fine detailing and artistry reflect a level of workmanship rarely seen in modern reproductions.

Please note that this is a vintage piece which missed both top and bottom glass doors, as shown in the photos. The asking price reflects the cabinet’s current condition.
