White Marble Burmese Medicine Buddha

Description

This Buddha was carved out of a single piece of marble in Myanmar (Burma). It is a beautiful piece depicting a robed buddha sitting atop a lotus base with his hand touching the ground and his other hand palm-up on his lap. The folding in his robe is beautifully done.
