Description
A real sheep head skull decorated with copper and gem stone in the eyes. The head size is as a normal sheep. The shofar is broken and shorter on one side long ago. But doesn’t effect its function and look. A kapala is a skull ritual implement. Often seen and used in both Hindu Tantra and Buddhist Tantra. Often carved or elaborately mounted with precious metals and jewels. A very rare find piece.

Note: NO animals were harmed in the making of the piece. The bone from this ritual item sculpture come from the sheep skull that die of natural course or as food resource. The people there respect and revere the animals, and after harvesting the animals to feed their families, they use every part of the animal, including the bones in this case. As a way to honor the animal’s life and their culture.
