Relic Java Majapahit style standing brass Vishnu sculpture. Vishnu is the supreme being who creates, protects and transforms the universe.
The club in his lower left hand. The lower right hand,usually held in the boon-granting gesture, here is turned outward, showing a square in the palm. It either represents a mark in the palm, or, a small box. Vishnu wears a tall, conical headdress of a type reminiscent of south indian statuary and a triple sacred thread of pearls. Standing on top of a lotus flower base.
