Hand carved Javanese teak wood wall. Beautiful carving of floral design on every section. With skilled artisans constructed using traditional tongue and groove techniques without the application of any metallic nails or bolts. The quality of the teak wood gave it a lasting presence. The carving works are so amazingly done that is beyond words and pictures could describe. The doors in the center could be open.
Originally used as an actual wall to separate two living spaces. Usually use in front of the house, also common seen between the main living space into the private area. We have had similar wall art used as central wall in the living room from one of our creative customer. Used as a decorative wall behind the bed in their main bedroom in another case. Many of our long tern clients and friends would also remember coming in and seeing a similar teak wood wall as our welcoming office entrance. A very fine art wall piece, which we usually only bring in the states for custom order. We are lucky to have this piece from an old art collector.
