Foo Dog Drum pair

Description

The sculptures come as a mirrored pair (price is $3500 for the pair of two). These are hand carved marble pieces from China featuring Foo Lion heads (Also known as Foo Dogs, Shi, Shishi) atop a drum with motifs of Kilin/Qilins (A mythical Chinese creature). Traditionally, these are set at the entrance of a temple or home as guardians.
