Ardhanarishvara translates to : The lord who is half woman. The figure portrays a perfect marriage – with the bodies of husband (Shiva) and wife (Parvati) harmoniously united as one.

Brass cast with a beautiful hand finish. The posture bent in three parts. With the head leaning to the left, the torso to the right, and the right leg in the straight position. Sometimes standing on a lotus pedestal like this one we have. Made in India.
