A rare beautiful hand painted thangka. Delicately drawn with Buddha, Chenrezig ( Avalokiteśvara ), Padmasambhava (also known as Guru Rinpoche), and Green Tara. And the famous six-syllable Sanskrit mantra: Om mani padme hum On top of the Thangka.

Hand painted on canvas with beautiful colors and details in a traditional brocade frame, before sewing into a stunning silk brocade frame. A thangka or tanka is a Tibetan Buddhist painting on cotton, silk appliqué. Usually depicting a Buddhist deity, scene, or mandala. Treated thangkas can last a long time, but they have to be kept in dry places.

Thangka are important teaching tools depicting the life of the Buddha, various influential lamas and other deities and bodhisattvas.
