Hand carved marble sculptures depicting the Hindu god Vishnu from the 1850s. These were used on either side of an entrance of a Hindu temple that was damaged in an earthquake in India. Because of the damage, they could no longer be used for worship and we were able to acquire them.
Each piece measures approx. 48″ tall x 12.5″ wide x 7″ deep
