The legend about Mucalinda: After weeks of Gautama Buddha’s meditation under the Bodhi Tree, it started thunder storm for days. Then, the mighty King of Serpents, Mucalinda, came from under the earth. Protected Budddha with all his heads which from as a hood . When the great storm had cleared, the serpent king assumed his human form, bowed before the Buddha, then returned to his palace.
