Hand woven water buffalo incisor and teeth medicine bag. Made for herbal medicine picking use. There are shells and beans neatly woven at the top rim of the bag. A cordage connected two side of the bag for carrying.
Kindly noted that NO animals were harmed in the making of the piece. The teeth from this bag come from the water buffalo that die of natural course or as food recourse. The people there respect and revere the animals, and after harvesting the animals to feed their families, they use every part of the animal, including the teeth in this case. as a way to honor the animal’s life and their culture.
